The Mentorship
From Burnout to Bold Joy
The 6-week mentorship that takes you from stress to story, and from exhaustion to experiences people actually feel.
I didn’t learn this in a manual.
I lived it.
In June 2024, I hosted a retreat in the South of France. On paper, it looked beautiful — the story was there, the vibe was there — but behind the scenes? Chaos.
I was everything at once: the driver, the accountant, the marketer, the teacher, the host. I
was so buried in logistics that I barely connected with the people I had invited.
Apart from the opening and closing circle, the whole thing is a blur. I promised myself: never again.
Because here’s the truth: events aren’t about filling schedules or proving value by doing more.
They’re about people. About story. About how you make them feel — before, during, and after.
And here’s the other side of the story: every event I’ve created — from pop-ups and weekenders to retreats and Ghana Dance Camp — has sold out.
Not because I chased people or burned myself out on promo, but because they were so me. Authentic. Aligned. Communicated with joy.
When you’re rooted in your story, your world, your values — people feel it.
The right people come.
The Playground philosophy works: it doesn’t need to be forced, it doesn’t need to feel like a chore. It gets to be joyful, magnetic, sustainable.
In March 2025, at Ghana Dance Camp, I felt that truth land in my body. Despite everything going on in my life — grief, stress, even eviction — I laughed, I danced, I connected.
It felt like a friend’s trip, not a product I had to “deliver.”
I watched participants transform in real time. It was the first time I realized: this is what it looks like when it flows like magic.
That’s what this mentorship is about.
Helping you design events that don’t drain you, don’t look like everyone else’s, but feel alive, intentional, and unforgettable — for your guests, and for you.
This mentorship is your shift:
I help event creators move from overwhelm and burnout → to clarity and ease, using a story-led, 5-step framework.
You’ll go from:
“I don’t know how to structure this” → to “I have a blueprint I trust.”
“I’m exhausted by my own event” → to “I get to enjoy my own playground.”
“I hope people like it” → to “I know they’ll feel it.”
When it feels like a mess…
❌ Overstuffed schedule, no rhythm
❌ Guests overwhelmed, no space to breathe
❌ Connections stay surface-level
❌ You’re buried in logistics, not presence
❌ Everything feels copy-paste, not you
❌ Drained from over-delivering
❌ Guests leave tired instead of transformed
❌ You walk away burnt out, not proud
We’ve all been there. And the shift isn’t about packing more in — it’s about crafting a story, an atmosphere, a playground people can feel.
✨ Event unfolds like a story, not a checklist
✨ Guests breathe, play, and feel alive
✨ Connections go deep, beyond the surface
✨ You’re present, enjoying it with them
✨ The vibe is unique, unmistakably yours
✨ Less “stuff,” but it hits way deeper
✨ Guests leave glowing, saying “that was magic”
✨ You walk away proud, energized, fulfilled
✨ And here’s the kicker: when it flows like magic, it repeats. You attract the right people again and again, without chasing, because the vibe is aligned and the story is alive.
When it flows like magic…

The 5-Step Framework (Sneak Peek)
Here’s how we’ll play:
-
Forget logistics for now. This week is about zooming out:
✨ Get crystal clear on your “why.”
✨ Sketch the emotional arc you want people to live inside your event.
✨ Map your vision so it feels alive, not like a to-do list.
Outcome: you’ll walk away with a first draft of your event’s soul — the story people will carry home.
-
Every unforgettable event starts with the right flavors.
✨ Discover what makes moments stick in memory.
✨ Collect cultural, artistic, and personal inspirations.
✨ Build your unique palette of values, emotions, and vibes.
Outcome: you’ll have a creative “menu” rooted in meaning, not trends — so your event feels timeless, not copy-paste.
-
Now we design the flow.
✨ Learn how to balance energy so nobody burns out or gets bored.
✨ Layer in sensory details that spark curiosity and joy.
✨ Draft the rhythm: when to rise, when to pause, when to blow their minds.
Outcome: a story-led program that feels effortless and unforgettable.
-
This is where it stops being your show and becomes our Playground.
✨ Experiment with games, rituals, and surprise moments.
✨ Create ways for guests to feel ownership (instead of passive watching).
✨ Practice presence — leading without performing.
Outcome: a program that participants don’t just attend — they co-create.
-
Now it’s time to open the doors.
✨ Find the words, visuals, and vibe that magnetize your people.
✨ Share your story without “selling” or chasing.
✨ Position your event so the right people recognize themselves instantly.
Outcome: your event’s invitation — clear, magnetic, and ready to spark sign-ups.
-
Finally, you step into your role as host.
✨ Learn how to hold the room without losing yourself.
✨ Create moments of connection for them — and space for you.
✨ Build in rituals of closure, reflection, and growth.
Outcome: the tools and confidence to host your event with ease, joy, and authenticity — while actually enjoying it yourself.
By Week 6, here’s your transformation:
Before:
You’re sitting with a half-baked idea, a blank doc, or a recycled format that doesn’t excite you anymore. You’re juggling logistics in your head, worried you’ll burn out before people even show up.
After:
You’ve got a clear story, a soulful flow, and an invitation that makes the right people say “YES, this is for me.”
You know how to design moments people actually feel, not just watch.
You trust yourself as a host — confident, joyful, and present.
👉 Instead of exhaustion, you leave with energy. Instead of stress, you leave with impact. Instead of wondering if people “got it,” you see them glowing.
This mentorship isn’t just about planning an event.
It’s about learning how to create spaces that feel alive — for them and for you.

FAQs
Do I need to already have an event planned?
Nope. Some people come with a full vision, others just have the itch. Both belong here. By the end, you’ll have clarity and a plan you actually feel excited about.
I’m not a professional event organizer, can I still join?
Absolutely. You don’t need a degree in event management. If you’ve ever thought “I want to bring people together,” this is for you.
What if I burn out trying to give people everything?
You won’t. That’s the whole point. I’ll show you how to design with flow and presence so you can enjoy your event instead of running around like a stressed-out intern.
How much time should I expect to commit each week?
About 2–3 hours: one live call, a bit of reflection/work, maybe a chat with your accountability buddy. Enough to move forward, not enough to fry your brain.
What if I miss a live call?
Life happens. All calls are recorded — binge them later with snacks.
Will this really help me attract the right people?
Yes. When your story is alive and aligned, the right people feel it. You won’t need to chase — they’ll want to join your world.
What if I don’t know how to make my event different from the rest?
That’s exactly what we’ll work on. No templates, no gimmicks. Just your voice, your vibe, your world — turned into an experience people will never forget.
How many people will be in the group?
Max 30. Small enough for intimacy, big enough for energy.
Will this also cover different types of events (classes, retreats, pop-ups, camps)?
Yes. I’ve done them all — locally, abroad, small and intimate, big and bold. I’ll show you the common thread (story + flow + presence) and how to adapt it for your context.
Will I actually enjoy my own event after this?
YES. You’ll design it in a way that lets you laugh, connect, and actually be present with your people. Imagine leaving your event proud and energized instead of collapsed in bed. That’s the shift.
Still got questions? Trust your gut. If you’re still reading this far, you already know you want in.
